THE MILL CAFE in Thornbury October 2012
We are always on a quest for some new and wonderful place to eat and enjoy some nice wine. Our latest discovery is The Mill Cafe in Thornbury.
I believe many of you will know this cafe HOWEVER do you know it is now under new ownership and newly managed by Dave and Linda Phillips along with Chef Nick who does a wonderful job with his terrific menu with something to please everyone's palate?
We enjoyed a delicious dinner accompanied by some wonderful wine David brought with us to enjoy at a very fair and nominal corkage of $10 per bottle. The bonus is on Wednesday nights when corkage is only $1 definitely promoting the enjoyment of wine with your meal at an affordable cost. We were also fortunate to taste their house wine and priced at $36.00 is a great addition to any meal.
Be sure to meet Dave Phillips your host who will give you a complete description of the menu and many wonderful suggestions.
We are organizing a "special" event soon at The Mill Cafe so stay tuned for more information.
Picture of David, Nina and Chef Nick. Its the best I could do on short notice with my Blackberry!
Cheers! Nina and David
